Turkana Driving School is a driving school in Kakuma. that currently relies on shared vehicles between Kakuma and Lodwar. Over the years, the demand for driving services in Kakuma and Kalobeyei has risen, supported by the Turkana County Government and Constituency Development Fund (CDF) through technical skills bursaries. With the support of the KKCF funding, TDS will acquire a dedicated motor vehicle for the Kakuma based driving school, construction of a perimeter wall for enhanced security and branding, and integration of computers and accessories to improve access to the Ecitizen platform.

Konyokonyo Shop is a general merchandise retail outlet in Kalobeyei Village camp 1. The shop currently serves 70 daily customers from Kalobeyei Village camp 1, 2 and 3. With the support of the KKCF funding, Kokonyo Shop will have access to working capital, and expand into Kalobeyei Village 3 through the establishment of an outlet. The business will also explore credit arrangements with suppliers.

With the support of the KKCF funding, Adley Company Limited will establish a new spare parts shop in Kalobeyei, acquire modern fabrication equipment and have access to working capital for spare parts procurement.
