Sagal shop is a general merchandise business in Kakuma Camp 1 that sells household items and various food commodities. The shop is also part of the UN World Food Programme‘s Bamba Chakula scheme, an electronic cash-based food assistance facility for refugees in the Kakuma-Kalobeyei area. Sagal Shop has two outlets: one outlet fully dedicated to serving Bamba Chakula clients, while the other outlet supplies a variety of consumer and household goods. With the support from KKCF, Sagal Shop will have access to working capital and additional stock. It will also install a solar system that will cater to the shops’ power needs.
